Portals

I took lots of pictures of close-uppy things today to get the hang of the lens...downloaded batches a number of times...looked through it...didn't get terribly excited about any of it and just now took a look at the itty bitty pinholes on the CF card through which the data travels.

It's important to me to retain some level of coolness about technology, you know, not seem so impressed with everything or to blabber like a simpleton about the marvel of it all but good grief, how in the world does the digital data go from these pinholes through the prongs in the card reader to the insides of my computer?

Ones and zeroes, I've heard...it sure seems a little like magic too.
