World kindness day
I was kind to Dippy, he had a lovely tramp around the countryside, a nice meaty breakfast and a tiny taste of my breakfast:)
I helped Vivienne with her bramble bonfire before heading out on an adventure to town in glorious November sunshine via lanes the A39 and peaceful traffic free footpaths.
A nice wander through the plethora of Turkish barbers (anyone know what is going on here ?) before I spotted a cobblers shop and they were able to fit a rubber end to my Hazel staff. Dippy was given lots of treats but I am wondering if some of them are full of adrenaline!
A cheesy scone and pot of peppermint tea in a lovely dog friendly cafe helped calm him down a tad before we finished our shopping and headed back towards home. Popping into Pets at home Dippy was excited to bump into his sister who he hadn’t seen since “Bluey” was collected from the farm at 12 weeks old. Fun and frolicking was observed in and out of the store before we went our separate ways. Crossing the A39 was an impossible task and so I decided catching a bus for the last 1/2 mile was the best and safest option.
A bite to eat before heading to the cappella choir for my second time, we welcomed several new members and enjoyed a a couple of hours of collaboration and jollity in the warmth of the local rugby club.
Back home and Zzzzzzz.
