Mincemeat

I want to make some mince pies for a weekend away so thought I’d better make some mincemeat. Not at all sure it will last until Christmas. I also put some dried fruit to soak in a worryingly large amount of alcohol for an alternative Christmas cake I’m going to try making. A black Caribbean cake, which I suspect will not be given to drivers!
