THE KNOTT FROM A DIFFERENT VIEWPOINT

Another lousy night's sleep - aaarrgghh.  Mustn't complain I still managed some sleep.  It's amazing how you go to bed really tired, settle down, get nice and warm and dozy and then all of sudden "ping" the brain decides it wants to wake up and fill you with very boring unimportant facts and just won't let you ignore it.  Oh well at least I don't have to get up and a do a full's day work as well.

I did need to be up early though as I had a check up at the Dentists at 9.30.  So hubby took me down in the car whilst I went in.  Good news, dental health is very good, nothing needs to be done.  Yeah.

After that we went into the Furness Building Society (the only type of bank we have left in Grange) to sort out some banking business of course.  Very helpful and friendly staff and so good to be able to sort it out face to face and not spend ages going through loads of robots.  After all that we went into Thyme Out for Coffee and Toasted Teacake before coming home.

It would appear that there is yet another water leek near us.  Luckily the only thing affecting us so (fouch wood, fingers crossed etc) is low water pressure.  Some people have no water though and on a walk around the block to take this photo from half way down Carter Road, I noticed packs of water bottles had been left outside people's houses, so they've obviously got no water and it's only two houses away from us!!!  
This photo was taken just before 3.00 pm so you can see that the sun's already beginning to go down.

Just Arnside Knott again I'm afraid from a different viewpoint this time.  What a view to have to suffer when having a walk around the block huh!!!
