Surprise

Today I bought myself a new maxi dress for Karen's surprise dinner.

I had been planning a surprise meal for Karen's birthday for a month or so and it was the hardest thing ever to keep quiet from her.

It went pretty well and she was happily surprised by everyone. She loved it aswell.

Went well for everyone bar me

First - Daniel knackered his knife off his plate in turn sending food flying over my dress

Second - took AR to change her nappy and the strap snapped and I didn't have any other nappy there with me

Third - was eating cake off a small plate and AR tried to grab it and sent both the cake and my plate flying, landing in Karen's bag

Four - I nearly dropped the whole cake everywhere

successful but not at the same time
