The Day The Banana Went Bad!

As a change from another dark night evening fresh air escape blip...I thought I'd take a photo of the display in the hall which I completed on Monday. It showcases the writing my class has completed based on the book The Day The Banana Went Bad.

It's a story about Banana who is thrown into the reject bin with the other misshapen fruit and vegetables. He decides enough is enough because after all he is just a little bit bruised and that doesn't make him any the less brilliant.

It's a book that celebrates being different and loving yourself. :-)

My class wrote banana and fruit smoothie recipes, a letter to the supermarket manager to explain why Banana shouldn't be in the reject bin and some imaginative writing about where Banana and friends could escape to in a bid for freedom! :-P
