Friargate

Out for a curry with some of my colleagues. Although several people had to back out at the last minute due to health issues. It was foggy in Preston, though luckily it was lifting by the time reached the motorway and then completely cleared part way home. And I have now learned where the fog lamp switch is on the car.

Formally handed in my notice this afternoon too. My manager was not that surprised, although she’d expected I might stay until the end of the financial year. I will tell the rest of my team when I see them next week, though I called my jobshare partner and let her know. It was lovely that both said that they were really pleased for me, but absolutely devastated by the gap I will leave.
