Catching some ZZZZZ

Hubby had some things to do early this morning. I made some chicken potatoes, corn  and carrots in the crock pot to take to my mothers for lunch. Also made some oatmeal and cranberry cookies to take. While our BIL and hubby put the cover on his camper I cleaned my mothers home a bit. First, I cleaned out the refrigerator's, everything out, outdated food tossed, shelved scrubbed and good food returned in some sort of order. Containers washed along with lunch dishes. Vacuum kitchen and hubby vacuumed rest of house. All floors scrubbed, laundry done. We headed home later then we planned but it was a good day and got a lot of important things done. My mother was worn out from all the activity so she took a snooze after her big lunch. She is 96 years old and still lives alone on 2 waterfront acres on part of her parents farm.
