St Anne’s Beach

After a few small jobs we headed off to the coast on this bright and sunny day. We drove all the way there in the sun and as we arrived in Lytham St Anne we found ourselves in a chilly and grey sea mist. That wasn’t on the programme!
However, by the time we’d eaten our lunch at what I’m sure is one of the best (and friendly and cheapest ) fish and chip shops in the world the mist had retreated a little.
We walked a little, shopped a little and drove home in time to avoid the rush hour!
The day concluded with tasty Indian food, in front of D and J’s log stove.
