Lapping it up

I didnt even wake up til 8am this morning and then decided to stay in bed with the papers and the word games etc til after 9am…talk about decadent!
It was another beuatiful day, and although I started by doing some cleaning I ended up going out for a walk around the park. Saw a number of the wild flowers round the Parliament were still flowering strongly, and although it was chilly it was lovely in the sunshine. I had hoped to have a slice of fruit cake at the Palace cafe but they didnt have any, and I ended up eating.a huge cinammon bun in Room and Rumours cafe …delicious!
Afterwards I came home to do some digital housekeeping and some online browsing before walking across to meet CR and JT at Hendersons for supper. Like the last time we were there I had the salad platter and chomped my way through the huge selection….very tasty.
We walked over to the Traverse together to see The Brenda Line…a play about a service the Samaritans used to offer. It was very good, funny, well observed and great dialogue between the younger and older actors.
When we sat in our seats the lady next to me apologised for her jacket getting stuck….turned out to be LE! We all had a good chat in the interval and all enjoyed the play.
