Intriguing commission!

I had a lovely voicemail and email message from a colleague in the US I worked with and got along with extremely well about 15 years ago! We’ve remained Facebook friends. 
Her US husband has just been granted Uk citizenship, and they have a ceremony in November, and she thought she’d like a hat from me for the occasion! 
This is the ‘Flower of Scotland’  tartan he will be wearing, so I’m hoping to incorporate those colours, of indee even some ribbon in that tartan if I can source it in time!
