Portraits

We’d booked our car in for its MOT today so we set off for Western Toyota at Cameron Toll after breakfast. It was a lovely sunny day in Edinburgh and after dropping off our car we enjoyed browsing round the shops.
The plan was to have lunch at the Cameo and then go and see Gladiator II but sadly I got my days mixed up (thought today was Friday) so after lunch we opted to visit the Portrait Gallery instead and in particular this exhibition
Excellent as was the gingerbread cake in their café.
Son no 2 and his girlfriend had cooked up a storm for us by the time we got back home. The only downside was that we were on clearing up duty.
