Lunch Meetup

We drove to Monroe, about 50 miles south of us, to meet our friends Liz and Pat for lunch at the Long Timber Brewing Company. It was a little early, so I didn’t have a pint to wash down my fish and chips, but the hot tea tasted fine on a cool day. We taught with both of these ladies at Central High School back in the 90s, in fact I did my student teaching with Pat back in the 80s. We shared stories and many laughs, and had a terrific afternoon. It was a good two hours away from the $#!+ that is America right now.
