All’s well that ends well

A flat tyre is never the best way to start the day and, having an electric car, there is no spare wheel. On the plus side, Bertie and I had driven just over a mile from home when it happened so we abandoned the car and walked back up the road. Just over an hour later the tyre was repaired by a very efficient young man who has a tyre fitting business not far from us and the day looked a lot brighter once again, despite the ongoing grey weather.
Computer work and dog walking pretty much filled the rest of the day.

PS I am relieved to report that following my trip to Tobermory yesterday, the glitch with the charging of the car had sorted itself and it is once more fully charged. Phew!
