Sort of Desperate

For some sort of blip today! It poured on and off all day today. I had a great phone call with a friend that I hadn't seen in at least 6 years. She and her husband moved to Redmond, OR to be close to their son and grandchildren and they love it there. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from where I live in Portland. I hope to go visit next spring...gosh I'd love to see her!

Then book club this afternoon. We went to our local Barnes & Noble store which is really new and very welcoming and lovely. We read "Fresh Water for Flowers" which was a very sweet, if a little long, book. 

These radishes are growing in my raised bed in my courtyard. Not sure that they'll grow much bigger at this point in the year, but it reminds me that spring will come again!
