Amaryllis

The first of the 6 amaryllis buds, is just beginning to open in my October bulb basket.

I drove into Castle Hayne and filled my vehicle up as I had let the tank get less than 1/2 empty. I then went to Hudson’s and got the cable ties I needed.

With the cable ties in hand, I was able to finish putting the lights on the Christmas tree and get it back outside before the rain began.

I went to the funeral of an MS friend this afternoon. Brian was 82 and had had primary progressive MS for 25+ years.

My heart was glad to see the church so full as Brian was a real southern gentleman who loved his family, supported his church and sang bass in the choir. Brian was humble and loved to share news and information on MS research.

Whatever Brian did, he did big but in a quiet unassuming manner, that touched a lot of people. He will be missed by many
