One of my neighbors hurt her leg so I walked her dog today. It has been so long since I’ve been taken for a long walk. I love Sam, but no one can meet all of your needs so you understand why poly makes sense. 


In the extras is a picture of someone who came to visit my back yard today. It was ok, none of my little bird friends was eaten. 

South Korea is planning on stepping up support for Ukraine. Russia using North Koreans has them “concerned.” South Korea has a long standing policy of only sending non-lethal aid. The newly elected American president is prompting them to reconsider US support for Ukraine and other countries. South Korea is looking at North Korean involvement and considering defensive weapons. They aren’t sending weapons - they are just considering it. 

Poland has South Korean tanks. The K2 Black Panther tanks are supposed to be among the most advanced in the world, able to maneuver quickly in rotten terrain, with automatic transmission and reasonably lightweight (for a tank). In July 2022 Poland and South Korea signed an agreement to produce 1,000 K2 tanks with half in Poland.  Then Poland signed a deal to buy 180 tanks which have been delivered. Poland has begun deploying the tanks to the border with Russia. 

There is a French military task force named “Champagne” which will train a brigade of several thousand Ukrainian troops with France supplied tanks, canons, and other weapons. The Ukrainian brigade is named “Anne of Kyiv” after a Kyiv princess who became a queen of France. It’d will eventually have 4,500 troops. 


Russia’s war costs and personnel losses are so great that Russia will reduce payments to troops injured in the invasion. They used to get three million rubles. Now, for less severe injuries anyway, they’ll get one million or less.
