Flowers and Bees

This is the first Tiger Lily this year. I split up the pot and now have some in the garden, they are good doers. 

I met Alison, my old partner in crime, for lunch at The Beekeepers Inn, half way between Orange and Bathurst. Funnily enough 3 other nurses of our vintage were there having lunch too. We hadn’t seen them for a few years.

 I was running late which made me a bit stressed as I hate being late. Bob and I had appointments at the optometrists. We were still there trying to sort things out over 2 hours later, they had new staff and were really busy. I needed something redone and in the end didn’t wait for the optometrist to see me and she rang later to say all was OK. If we had waited we would have been there 2.5 hours. 

I got Wordle in 2 again, I had a good starting word. That makes up for 2x failures last week. 

Last night I started a new book. The news on TV isn’t very happy at the moment so it’s a good distraction. 

See bees in the extras, a wall in the Bee Keepers Inn has glass showing active bee hives for the customers to view. Hard to photograph through glass but interesting to see.
