Singapore sightseeing

Walked round the bay gardens for much of the morning, visiting the cloud garden and this high point, the supertree observatory. Great views of the city especially Marina Bay Sands, which we didn’t in the end venture up. Took the MRT to Little India intending to lunch there, but the heavens opened en route and it was impossible to leave the station, so we went back to the hotel by which time the rain had almost stopped. In the evening we met Nick and Scarlett and their lovely children. Dinner overlookingthe bay - very special
