Grown-Up Glasses

Collected my new glasses today from Jack Brown, optician to the comfortable middle classes and their kids. They are distance glasses, and intended for wearing at all times; without falling over or being sick if possible. They're really smart actually - rimless and a bit arty and almost succeed in making me look smart and arty. So close.

Nipped into the Portrait Gallery afterward to see the exhibition of new work by Ken Currie. Didn't fall over.

Took the bus home. Wasn't sick.

A successful day then.
