Kinder Bank Wood

A spectacular section of woodland west of Kinder Scout in the Derbyshire Peak District. Kinder bank Wood rather special in all seasons but in full leaf amazing.

Set off in drizzle for this walk to see Kinder at Kinder Reservoir the sun was blazing down. Saw lots of Gatekeeper butterflies.

Lots of chirpy House Martins, screechy young Kestrels, some Swallows, young Bullfinches, Wrens and Grey Wagtails spotted too.
