Toasted teacake

I don't usually photograph food, but it's the only picture I took today. I went to Heswall, only about 8 miles away, but I only go there every 5 years or so, so I don't know it well. I didn't know about a really fab book shop, Lingham's, where there's a cafe at the rear. Their toasted teacakes are The Best. Lightly toasted, tasty, crisp and generously supplied with butter. I usually have to ask for extra butter. I won't leave it another 5 years before visiting again. 
Oh, and  lots of books too, including a signed copy of Miranda Hart's book which has been wrapped in brown paper and is on its way to my granddaughter,.
