Sad Journey

Temperature about +5. Cloudy, some drizzle. Cold wind from some direction.

Today we went to see my mother in the hospital some distance away. She seems to survive even from this affliction and now is back in her home municipality, a small hospital. But, she's become very weak, forgetful and confused quite suddenly in a couple of months. Sorrow has already been by our side for some time, her as well as ours. We all must face these sad, difficult things in our lives, and we can do nothing but hope that our loved ones will be free from their suffering.
