(Teston) Edit East Farleigh bridge & River Medway
Pronounced Teeson… well it would be if this was Teston Brjdge!
The bridge was built in the 14-15 centuries and is a Grade I listed building and a scheduled ancient monument.
I had an appointment for an X-Ray on my right foot and ankle to see, at last, what was causing the ever present slight pain when walking. It’s been like that for years and years, not too bad but annoying. I went to see a physio who recommended an X-Ray.
Within a few days of me visiting the physio an appointment was made and the deed done. Excellent service due to a new Community Diagnostics Centre near to the main hospital dedicated purely to GP referrals.
We dropped off Doreen’s hearing aids and spare batteries at the audiology clinic then walked along the Medway to (Teston) East Farleigh and Barming. The river was quiet and peaceful, not like the chocolate fountain it was a few weeks ago. Thanks Nogbad for pointing out my error!
As has been the wont in recent days the afternoon was spent doing admin. House insurance all that sort of stuff.
Before all that we had a call to California to see Maddy and wish her a happy second birthday. Time has flown by since the day she was born and we were in Brighton at a Bellowhead concert. Last year we were at her 1st birthday in California.
