Trip to Norwich to sort out Christmas presents, fortunately quite successful.
Jarrolds is a long established department store in the middle of town selling all sorts of stuff. Their basement food hall is a delight, lots of things "from far away places with strange sounding names". The top floor has a restaurant that always has a pie on the menu. Today was steak and kidney. Along with a huge slab of pie comes potatoes and peas carrots and cabbage plus loads of gravy. They should make their plates bigger, it would be easier to balance all the food. Always eat too much. Always end up with belly ache. Always enjoy it and look forward to my next visit .
