A goodbye

I knew today was a full-on one even before it started. A tricky meeting first thing, covering for other people, teaching, duty, supervising the last students to leave and the last day of a colleague who has made a real difference in a short time and will be missed. No time to pause but elements were not as bad as they could have been but I was sad to say goodbye to my colleague but not to the end of this week.
