Twenty Months Old

Bear is 20 months old today. Oneandtwothirds. Incredible.

He can now sign (in baby sign, based on Makaton)

He loves playing outside, he loves wearing nothing, he loves his shoes, he loves his trike, he loves the dirt, he loves splashing in the paddling pools and in the bath (at last!). He likes olives and mozzarella, will pick and eat raspberries and blackberries from the bush, and is learning to check gooseberries for ripeness first. He likes whatever I'm eating, generally.

He loves riding his trike, climbing anything he can, he's almost able to climb up to Bean's top bunk. He will lie himself down for a nappy change if you ask him nicely. He is still breastfeeding, having milk a few times a day and for his nap, and also to go to sleep at night and then a couple of times during the night. He enjoys cows milk too, and sometimes has some cows milk and a half a banana as well as breastmilk for his supper!

He has really discovered the joys of paint this last month too. At Creation Station he takes the removal of shoes and socks as an invitation to stand in the paint trays. He LOVES it!

And he still adores his big brother. Wants to play with him, copies him. They play together on the climbing frame, on their bikes, in the dirt. And he loves his daddy too! Hurrah.
