Queenstown Marathon runners …..

….. ….. ….. heading up Hogan Gully Rd, towards Lake Hayes, and ultimately, after 42kms, Queenstown itself.

I totally admire the dedication and tenacity and amazing effort that must be part of all their participations. I might be an outdoors person but that sort of activity has never been my thing. I like being able to stop and enjoy it all!
It’s just as well that we’re all different isn’t it.

My daughter has a gadget which she’s sometimes suggested might help with whatever my latest ailment has been. She’s had it for a long time. It’s made by Bioptron and uses colour therapy. Anyway, today it finally got used; on my injured Achilles tendon. 10 hours later I have to say that it really is feeling better. It’s been suggested that there might be another session tomorrow!

We woke to snow on the tops this morning. It was all gone by midday but they’re forecasting a frost overnight.
