Savill Garden in Autumn

I had thought about a “day out” today but overslept. So by the time I’d woken up, sorted out some admin tasks (don’t you just hate tax return time?!) and generally got myself together it was a bit too late - an overcast cloudy day didn’t inspire either.

Instead I took myself off to The Savill Garden for coffee and a walk round the gardens.  The sun made some brief appearances giving some wonderful views along the stream. 

All in all, a refreshing and more relaxing day than originally envisaged … and there is always next week.
