Thursday: Roving in Rovinj

Another hot humid day today.  The best way to cope is to spend it in the water, we find, so this afternoon we took ourselves over to a small nearby island for a spot of cooling off.  I will miss our sea swimming but am very pleased that I have got such good use out of the snorkel and mask I bought for 99p.

We were having a pre-dinner drink at the seafront tonight when there was a massive commotion over am excessively large yacht coming in.  People were taking photos and just generally staring but it turned out to be nobody famous.  Clearly, having a big yacht, though, gets you some attention.

Went for a walk round town after dinner. This is a great town, every nook and cranny just throws up something new!
