Between fen and mountains

Saturday market

It was a cold but sunny morning and the village market still has plenty of stalls probably because of Christmas approaching and Telethon fundraising. I searched at the Telethon charity shop, which is now open, for a vinaigrette jug. I bought a small jug with a little opening but it pours badly so I will have to keep looking. Today is the AGM or Bellicampane, the bellringing association, so I have been preparing for that and also for a service of lessons and carols at the beginning of December. This is our big annual event and we usually have a good attendance from the village maybe partly due to the offer of mulled wine and stollen afterwards.
