Mahonia majesty
I used to work in our London Fleet Street and Kensington offices 2-3 times a month for 15 years or so. In that time I regularly walked from Kings Cross. In those days I was fit and enjoyed the street scenery off the busy bus routes. I even started a photo collection of coal hole covers (now long gone). On one route from Beatties model shop in Holborn down Southampton Row, into Great Ormond Street, Tavistock Place and into Gray’s Inn Road I recall passing a park that was covered in massive Mahonia shrubs. About 25 years ago I went out and bought this one.
