Duke of Portland Boathouse

We went to Rheged today to see Ian Lawson's exhibition of Herdwick portraits.  Rheged was very busy and the exhibition well attended.  Some lovely photos and they inspired me to get out with the camera more.

We had lunch at Rheged and then drove down to Ullswater and home via Kirkstone Pass.

Very grey day today and a few spots of rain but didn't spoil our enjoyment of this wonderful place.
