Annual Council Meeting

Despite last evening’s late night ( thanks very much for the comments and stars ), I was up early today to pick Dawn up and head to the WI Council Meeting in Ponteberem. We had two excellent speakers but our favourite was Asmaa Al Allak, the winner of The Great British Sewing Bee in 2023. She spoke about her difficult childhood and developing a love of sewing from her grandmother. She is now a breast surgeon in Cardiff and was an inspiring and entertaining speaker.
