Neglect

What a difference from a year ago.

We went to Biggleswade this morning to view the two new flats (from the outside) and I’m confident we’ve made the right decision on which one is more suitable for Greg. We just have to wait for the referencing to complete before we can do anything else.

When we saw my old neighbour earlier in the week, he suggested we pop round today to see the sofa he would be able to let Greg have. That was perfect. Whilst there we peaked into the old garden. Oh my word, nothing has been done to it in 11 months. The old house has been empty as the sale of it has fallen through twice and now although it is now going through, sale contracts take such a long time these days. I have no idea when the new owners will move in.

We were fortunate enough to do an assisted move type arrangement when we moved to Saltburn, so the sale of the old house was to a company, and took away all the headaches associated. (The back garden gate was on a code lock, which is how I managed to get today’s pictures. A bit naughty I know!!)

So my blip shows our old garden 18 months ago and then three views from today. Not actually a shock as Mark had been keeping us up to date. But none the less it was sad to see.
