Take the Rough with the Smooth

Part of the weir on the River Derwent which controls the flow of water to Strutt's Mill in Belper.
The mill is part of the World Heritage area of Industrial archaeology in the Derwent Valley but is now in a sorry state of disrepair. There have been plans mooted to use the building but nothing has materialised so far.
