On the beach

It was sunny and not too cold and not a breathe of wind so we went for a walk along the beach. It's been quite a while since we were there..too cold or too wet or too windy. Today we got it right.  The tide was so far out you could hardly make out the water. 

It was pleasantly mild and we walked a good long way , though I kept having to go back to Fletch as he was lagging behind,  lured by lots of interesting smells not because he was reluctant to walk.  
We took our time, even sat for a while  to drink in the peace. As usual there were only a couple of people , we mainly had the place to ourselves. 

A great place to unwind. 
As we walked back the clouds drifted over and it was quite hazy, so we timed the walk just right.
