To the foot of our stairs…

We have ordered our stair and landing carpet, so now I have to sort out the stairs.

We are having a runner so I need to strip, repair and paint the stairs. I took the carpet, underlay and grippers off and then started to remove the billion and one staples. Took an age. There are a lot of nail holes, screw holes, dogs chew marks and other assorted holes, gouges and other damage so filling took an age. I’ll sand and refill tomorrow.
