Houseplant maintenence

Today, the temperatures outside started to drop so we started thinking about planning next year at the allotment and looking after the houseplants. Although that generally just means me as somehow I've ended up as the houseplant guardian.

I had been wondering about this poor fern as it's been looking a bit sadly lately. Took it out of the pot and was amazed to find a lot of roots and pretty much zero compost! After taking some sections to root in a new pot I repotted in a slightly bigger container. Fingers crossed they all thrive.
