Polly in Mum's garden

Margret had a bad day yesterday and I set off to visit her as soon as I could this morning.

My subject for today decided that she did not want her photograph to be on here, so I have removed it. You may find the first comments confusing, but I have replaced the photo with one of Mum's embroideries from a few years ago.

I can only apologise to my previous subject - she has her photos to use as she chooses now.


 Margret was low in spirits yesterday and again today. The new medication for her abnormal movements is not working and she has no control over her right arm and leg. She was exhausted and struggling.

I stayed and we talked and gradually put things in perspective, but she is feeling very poorly.

Hopefully the consultant will change her medication on Monday.

I sat and knitted this afternoon. Liz came with Margret's clean washing and we chatted. I also had a video call with Julie who is due to have a knee replacement on Monday. Not a moment too soon.
