Waning moon

I wasn't expecting another night with a clear sky, after a fairly miserable day, but the moon was shining all the way as I drove home from the hen guardian's house in Huntly. It was already down to 98.4% illuminated when I took this shot, about one day after full moon.  Already, detail is re-appearing at the right side of the moon.
