A kitchen day

I spatchcocked and roasted a chicken ( no… not one of mine! Got it from ALDIs :—)) Then I deboned it and made chicken pot pies. I have got to work on home making my crusts for these. The bought pastry is good and beautiful but a little sweet for a savory pie for my tastes. We kept one and gifted one. All in all a good day. Now I’m tired. Rest well!
