elephants are truly majestic - in my mind - they are regal in stature - protective of their young - and yet have a gentle - nature about them - however they are critically endangered - continuing to be - poached by game enthusiasts - for their ivory which - grieves them (the elephants) - as well as humans - it is a horrible situation - and has diminished the - african elephant population today - to around 415,000 in the world

so i offer this coloring - rendition as a tribute - to the grand elephant - as a gesture of love - and joy for that’s - what i feel whenever - i gaze upon them - knowing they will - lead me towards…
