Moon

Popped over to a Blackburn Cathedral this afternoon to the Moon exhibition. 

The size and detail really does stand out. 

Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At anapproximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon's surface.

To the rear of the Cathedral was a photo exhibition of the best 26 submissions and a winner + runner up. (I tried to get pictures of the winner, but the reflection was to strong).
