Pub grub

It's not all work and no p(l)ay as a postdoc. After a successful meeting with the boss to discuss my work (managed to make him believe I had been doing some science) he took the lab to the on campus pub for a beer and some fries & onion rings.

Most of the lab skulked out of going (says something about lab moral if you don't want a free beer courtesy of the boss) and those that did go were not big drinkers so ended up nursing their pints with lots of awkward silence. I had a 6.0% pale ale which went straight to my head (all that hot air for the 1.5 hr meeting) but by the time I had cycled home as walked babe I was good to go pick up the wife from the train station in solana beach.

Currently enjoying sushi by the 101 in solana beach. Life is good....
