It’s Sunday…

… so refuse collection so that everything is neat and tidy for Monday morning. If only! The whole town is a mess from people leaving out the wrong coloured sacks and not putting a payment sticker on general rubbish. I have to take a deep breath and just be grateful that my tiny part of the planet has been cleared.

I find it interesting that this is the size of container given for food waste. Many years ago when I lived on the mainland for a while we were give slightly smaller than general rubbish wheelie bins. Could the difference in size be because food is so horrendously expensive over here?
