Dyed in the wool.

This is one of those wools that have the colour change in the yarn. I am not a good knitter so I often get this type of wool. This one the colour blocks are very big so it has made my life harder because I have had to match the fronts and the sleeves. Otherwise I thought it would look odd. I managed to do the neckline neatly which I was pleased about.  Only the front bands to knit now. I'm hesitant to start as I want them to be matching too. We'll see how it goes. I would approach the task differently next time. I started with 2 balls of wool that started with the same colour. I would knit one matching piece from each ball. I started with the back so that made it harder because I was trying to match half a ball if you see what I mean.
First day of chicken duty too. The extra is a light Sussex I believe.
In other news my grandson has started to crawl. He has been managing to roll around but today he's really cracked it.
