Junior parkrun
The grandkids and their Mum stayed the night with us and this morning we dragged them off to Junior parkrun. Our granddaughter wouldn’t take part; although still within the age-range she probably felt too old for it and didn’t want to be beaten by some tiny child several years younger than her. Fair enough - she’s quite the grownup teenager now. Paul, however, was up for it and his Mum accompanied him, or at least she tried to - he managed round in a personal best time, with a red-faced Mum trailing in his wake, unable to keep up.
My Blip shows some of the marshals heading off to take up their positions just as we were arriving.
A beautiful morning, although it dulled over later for a while before the brightness returned this afternoon.
The family returned to Glasgow at lunchtime to do some shopping and then continue with their usual frenetic social whirl.
