What struck my fancy

Mud and shape

This area is called the Fisher Fleet where the trawlers are moored, the channel meets the River Great Ouse which flows to The Wash so the area is tidal. Sometimes the ebbing tide and its currents sculpt the muddy channel bed.

The extra shows the visiting cargo vessel Reymar in the nearby Bentinck Dock. The vessel is high in the water suggesting that it is unladen so the adjacent items on the dockside might be loaded on board by the crane tomorrow.
