Bartolotti House, Amsterdam
A full day in Amsterdam with Bert. Left early in the morning to attend the Nexus conference (first extra) on the Quest for Vision in the Era of Confusion, Corruption and Foolishness. Really lively debates to listen to.
After lunch we decided to go and wander along the canals toward the Bartolotti House (main photo), a lavishly ornate 17th century house that you can visit. You do have to ring the bell to be let in, meaning only a few people were inside, super nice!
Then we wandered around a bit more in dusk and evening (see 2nd extra)until we had dinner. I was the designated driver, so no alcohol for me. We were home just before 11 pm - a long but great day out!
